I came to property management the long way around — as a Realtor first, then as an owner. I bought my first Ottawa rental years before I ever managed anyone else's, and that's still the lens I use for every decision.

When my clients started asking, "Can you also manage this for me?" I said yes — but only on my terms. A small number of doors. Direct relationship with every owner. Brokerage-grade accountability. No franchise, no call centre.

Today I manage roughly ten doors across Ottawa. I plan to keep it that way. When I'm full, I'm full — and I'll tell you so rather than overpromise.
